Hip-hop group 'The Pharcyde' concert poster ca. unknown.

Seeing this poster made me think it is a good poster based on layout, but lacks points on execution. i.e. rigid font exterior, poor use of colours ( could be better if it was done in a reverse print style to have a better relationship with the image of the group and their name. Favourite part of the poster would have to be the image of The Pharcyde, it captures their trademark personality as rappers and their approach to music.

Main ingredients of poster:
Picture of Kitchener, sepia tone (may have been limited to print supply and application), hand drawn font, artist's signature. Reference used. Provocativeness of the image combined with the text to have a personal message towards the viewer. Red coloured text emphasises on the importance of the message "Your country needs YOU" visualised as a command from Lord Kitchener himself, overall dynamic poster for a cause.

Example of Graphic Design: The Black Seeds concert poster (2016).

There are a number of certain factors within this poster:
Composition: Easy layout, friendly readibility, Aesthetics: Aqua like blue as backdrop for body of text and heading title. The Black Seeds current signature logo (3D) effect even though it is flat. CMYK format? Black font for information (dates, venues and guest performers. Also website isolated from rest of text to emphasise it's user friendliness.

Various boldness for text, differentiate the aspects of the main message of the poster.
